Yesterday I announced on my Facebook page that there would be an exciting announcement today, and I’ve had people curiously waiting to find out just what that is. One reader even stated that she almost felt like she was camping in a line waiting for concert tickets! I can only hope that after stirring up these expectations, the forthcoming announcement does not disappoint.

So what exactly is this big announcement?

Well, it’s something that many of y’all have been asking about for a long time, but something that I’ve been reluctant to pin down until now. It is, my friends, the release date of Firmament: Machiavellian! At last you can all go mark your calendars with the knowledge that, Lord willing, that day is when the third book in the Firmament series will finally be available!

And the date is… *drumroll*

October 23rd, 2014!

But wait, there’s more!

There will be three other Firmament surprises before the book is released. Will they be big or small? Silly or serious? And why should you care? Well, I guess you’ll just have to keep an eye out on my Facebook page to find out!

This has been my hardest book to write yet, and I am SO excited to share it with all of you!
