Once: Six Historically Inspired Fairytales

Hello friends! Today I brave sickness, packing to travel out of state, and a really annoying but hopefully helpful diet to bring you some exciting news!

Five friends/fellow authors and I are announcing our latest story project. What is the project? Why, it’s an ebook boxset containing six fairytale novella retellings in different historical genres. It’s been such a blast to work with these talented ladies, and I absolutely can’t wait to share the stories with all of you. When will they be released? December 2nd.  (Lord willing!)

Tis the Season

…to be busy! And to decorate, buy and wrap gifts, make cookies, watch Christmas movies, and most of all, spend time with family! Which means that my blog will be rather silent this holiday season, and I’ll be taking a break from email and other social networks as well. So don’t be alarmed if I don’t reply to your communication for awhile… I will return!

So yeah, you may have noticed that I haven’t talked much about my writing for awhile. No big announcements, no progress updates, etc., etc., etc. Part of the reason for this is that personal stuff is keeping me from writing much, but part of it is that I’m just still learning to balance writing and home. And in my quest to learn that, one thing I’m trying out is not working with a deadline for this book.
